I'm Bella (short for Isabella), A Sustainability Consultant at Circle Sustainability. I got into sustainability when I moved to Singapore at a young age and learned how the South Asian rainforests were being destroyed to make way for Palm Oil Plantations. The last year of my university degree, Geography and International Development, allowed me to explore more sustainability-related modules and cemented my desire to work in the industry. It's been a year and three months since I started my work in sustainability within the built environment, and I love it. I specialise in BREEAM and am working towards my BREEAM AP qualification. I have worked on BREEAM certifications for schools, hospitals, residential blocks and industrial units. I have also been lucky enough to work with certifications such as LEED and WELL, which I look forward to exploring further. In my spare time, I like playing squash games and enjoy swimming, especially outdoors. 

As a Net Zero Carbon Sustainability Consultant with extensive experience in the UK, India, USA and Singapore, I specialize in the application of data analytics to design sustainable built environments. 

My expertise spans Embodied Carbon, Circular Economy, energy, and daylight analysis, focusing on optimizing design for sustainability.  

In my previous role, I have led several high-impact projects, including Whole Life Cycle Assessments (WLCA) and Circular Economy (CE) reports, contributing significantly to the sustainability strategies of various mixed-use and residential developments. 

My efforts in these areas have enhanced the sustainability quotient of projects, aligning them with RIBA, RICS, and GLA guidelines.  Previously, at Savvy Greens in India, I played a pivotal role in certifying buildings under various green rating systems, including LEED, EDGE, WELL, and IGBC. My work in energy and water audits,   

waste management, and GHG emissions reporting, ESG Framework and SDG report has been recognized with multiple awards, including the prestigious CII Energy Performance Challenge Awards for three consecutive years. 

Beyond my project work, I am passionate about advancing sustainability practices in architecture through education and thought leadership. I have conducted seminars on Circular Economy and actively contribute to the development of green building standards.
